ProcureCon Indirect returns on 24th-26th
April, promising three days of networking, benchmarking and debate among 300 of
Europe’s leading indirect procurement practitioners.
Building
on the success of last year’s meeting, the ProcureCon Indirect team have put
together an entirely revamped agenda, focusing only on the critical issues
affecting CPOs and senior indirect sourcing professionals. It’s truly an agenda
by the industry, for the industry, with discussion topics chosen by a special Advisory
Board made up of key figures from within the industry – namely:
Giuseppe
Conti, Associate Director Services Procurement, Merck Serono SA
Erik
Dam, Global Purchasing Director, The
Scotts Miracle-Gro Company
Mikkel
Larsen, Procurement, Rolls-Royce
Jamie
Foster, Global Procurement Director, ESAB
Holdings Ltd
Herve
Menassol, Global Capital Purchases Associate Director, Procter & Gamble
Thibaut
Eissautier, Chief Procurement Officer & Head of Group R&D, Member of
the Group Executive Board, McBride
As
well as the 2-day conference, ProcureCon Indirect will feature a special Focus
Day addressing the use of procurement analytics in managing risk, informing
strategic initiatives and getting value-added services from suppliers.
Delegates
will hear 10 indirect procurement best practice case studies from the CPOs of
leading companies, including Network Rail, Goldman Sachs, Centrica, The Royal
Mint and the Metropolitan Police Services – plus panel discussions,
roundtables, workshops and Oxford-style debates.
All 30 speakers have been briefed to share
candid insight into what really drives their procurement strategies. Vidya
Gunapala, Chair of the Procurecon Advisory Board, says, “We really want our
speakers to dig deep and reveal some of the secrets behind their procurement
strategies – we certainly don’t want to see any generic presentations!” Each
speaker will also provide three tools and three techniques for delegates to
feed back to their teams and implement.
ProcureCon
Indirect 2012 will take place at the Tower Guoman Hotel London on 24th-26th
April 2012
